Is this an allergic reaction

So a couple days ago I used a face soap made from tomatoes and charcoal that is supposed to be healthier for your skin. Almost immediately my skin was burning. I wash the soap off, and my face was left red with a rash around my nose. I stopped using the soap but two days later my face still hurts and the skin is peeling.

I used it before and other than a small tingle never had a weird reaction. Is this an allergy or something else?

    could be a chemical burn rather than allergy but just to be sure rub some catsup on your arm as a skin test.

    Chemical burn is what's coming to mind. Can you see a dermatologist to make sure?
