Is this a snapchat glitch?

I can’t find any answers on google about this, so I wondered if any of you knew.
When you send a Snapchat the icon turns red for a photo or blue for text blah blah.
Well say I sent a photo to 10 people it turns red... and most open it straight away so it becomes clear.. but some it stays red even though they’ve opened it.. it’s hsppened a few times the first time it happened I thought oh she hasn’t opened my Snapchat yet but I’ve seen her online. It was unread for 3 days then I glanced again and it said opened 3 days ago. What the hell is up with it

    delete Snapchat and never use it again.

    Did you try deleting and reinstalling? I had one a long time ago but it wouldn’t quit saying I screenshot shit I didn’t and I got sick of it.

      Yeah I have tried that! I sent a snap 3 days ago and it says a couple of people haven’t opened it, but I bet In a couple more days it’ll say... opened 3 days ago 😒.
