Is this a real friendhsip?

I have a friend, or so I thought she was a friend. This friendship seems to be only one sided. I would lend her money to try and help her out, and did the same for her son. I have never been paid back, and I am not going to be. I am the one that has to contact her, she never reaches out to me. She is a very sweet person and is happy to start a conversation, and we talk for a long time. She is going through some very bad times right now, and just wants someone to talk to. But, I have to always contact her for any conversation. If I do not contact her, I never here from her. She is a very nice person, but I am getting tired of doing all work with this friendship. What advice do you all have for me. Should this one sided friendship continue or not? Is it normal that I want to be reached out to for once?
