I think it is a normal part of life to resent how our parents raised us. Otherwise how could we better ourselves, or help our children to be better too?
I can relate to the OP in that when I am wronged I do think about revenge, however I never follow through as I know the reward is not nearly worth the risk of getting caught. Which in these situations is highly likely. I thoroughly enjoy my freedom.
Is this a normal reaction to spankings as a kid?
