You go to the bathroom when you need to poo. You tell people that you are going to have a shower. After you have been to the toilet, you take a shower and hopefully, by the time the shower is finished, there will be little odour.
This is only possible in certain situations though but it has worked for me in the past.
It also helps if you flush at the moment you defeacate, so that there is minimal time for the odours to linger.

And having a shower afterwards makes you able to leave the bathroom feeling very clean, having washed the offending area!
It doesnt but I take about 30 minute showers so by the time out out, the smells gone
