Is this a normal belief?

I have a sort of optimistic nihilism when it comes to the meaning and ending of life.

Once we die, I believe that the energy within us doesn't fade away, as energy doesn't just "die", it changes. I believe that it changes and spreads across the entire universe in the minuscule atoms and after death we become one with the universe.

This theory I have doesn't mean sentience after death, because we wouldn't have any senses and so wouldn't be able to detect that we were living beings.

I don't know why i think this, but it just really really comforts me when i think about death. Knowing that we are all part of something so beautiful and even though yes, it might be scary to think we won't see someone again or get to do certain things, we are part of something and by living we are helping the universe discover itself.

Life is just an opportunity to experience it in a whole new way and i'm never going to give up this opportunity. When I die, i'll be back as part of the wonderful universe but whilst i'm alive i want to breathe and see amazing sights and learn the most trickiest things and come to peace with everything .

I'm only 18, but I really believe i've come to peace with everything. When something bad happens, it's just life testing us in new ways, picking to see if we are strong enough. It's going to be alright.

Life isn't fair, and that's because life isn't the the only thing we get to experience. True unity is fair. Life is a hardship which we all have to face as an everlasting creation and i want to do my bit no matter what life chucks at me.

Life has taken my Mother.
Life stuck me with an abusive father for 4 years of my childhood.
Life left me suicidal and unable to find happiness for 12 years.

Usually the word "death" is in place of "life", right? I think that death isn't a bad thing, it just means that we are ready to become one again.

Sorry if any of this didn't make sense..I don't know if there's a name for this belief but yeah

I actually don't know if it's normal but it sounds like a good belief system.

I don't think that's a normal belief but you do you. Whatever works for you to cope.
I have a similar not-atheist-not-so-religious belief but I'm too fucking lazy to describe it.
