Is this a normal behavior from my therapist?

  • That's messed up. You should tell someone about your experience and try to get a new one.
I've liked the 2 of the 3 therapists i've had so far but none of them were of any help though they were nice. The first one was pretty... "airheaded" and rambly, often when I mentioned a problem of mine she'd compare me to one of her sons and say he has the same problem and just in general draw comparisons to her own life and start talking about that which left me with so little time to talk that our appointments would drag out on time. The second one was still learning so I was one of her first patients ever, she basically just said "do this" about things I find difficult as if I had never tried ever since I was a kid a million times already and she didn't really have any good techniques to share. The third one was plain rude and would undermine my problems.
