I think you really need a balance of the two, it's just that most people have a problem with talking about themselves too much rather than too little - you know, meet a girl, recite your autobiography for the next 30 minutes...
Yes balance indeed. If she's the shy type you may have to do more of the talking at first but if she's the talkative type than let her run and listen intently. Mostly I get the shy type using this approach.
Is this a good way to approach women or is it too creepy?
