I feel like I should be true to my city and pick something by The Smiths, The Stone Roses, The Inspiral Carpets, The Happy Mondays, or James. I could find at least one by any of those bands, I'm going to be traitorous and pick something else.
Perfect Day, by Lou Reed came to mind. Mother, by John Lennon too. But I landed with a song that means everything to me because of the football team I gave my heart to. You'll Never Walk Alone. It's more a part of me (and my fellow fans) than anything else could ever be.
It wasn't the world World Cup song we've ever had, although John Barnes took a lot of stick for his rapping. Three Lions makes me feel patriotic, though. Really looking forward to the Euros next summer!
Is there ONE song that you feel is "you"?

How about World in Motion by New Order? That one makes me feel patriotic for England and I'm not even British.
