Being gay is not a predecided choice and it is most definatly not in a persons genes (one of the dumbest things ive ever heard). Every single persons sexual preferences are different to some extent, take me for example i only have sex with girls that i judge to be extremely hot and i couldn't care less about their personality but this comes down to it being my CHOICE, i even have got off with guys before during foursomes and hell it made the sex even more exciting, am i bi though, nope.
thats different your talking about choice of who to have sex with, sexuality is attraction, if you found any of the guys hot your bi. it is in your genetics just so you know.
what, do you think every gay person out their comes out the closet? Some do get married and have kids, its also ony 50% hereditary and for gay men it has something to do with certain chromozones passed from their mother and its patterning. Also whos to say just because both parents have brown eyes that their child have be blue or green eyes? It also can happen by a random gene mutation which comes from out of the blue like any other gene. And lets not forget bisexuals, they do play some part and besides gays only make up around about 10% of the population so of course there arent gonna be lots around anyway. In some cases it has something to do with a chemical imbalance within the womb which is ,unfortunatly for some, unavoidable. They also disected dead bodies of gay men and found that the way the brain was set out was more similar to a females brain and that they were somewhat larger than the average heterosexual brain. Debates about it being nuture are for people who believe in theories before the 1970s when they thought it was a mental illness. It is not.
Is there anything a person can do to change their sexual orientation?

If being gay was in a persons genes then how exactly does this gene get passed from generation to generation.
