Is there any way to get rid of thalassophobia?

Not sure. But maybe bathing at the beach at shallow water, or boat/ship trips in nice weather. Or watching underwater documentaries with cute animals like seals and dolphins and pretty fishes like clownfish just as an example. Learning that the ocean can also be enjoyable may help.
I personally love being at the ocean and cant really understant the phobia of ocean as a whole (dont mean its invalid), I get being scared in certain situation but thats just as much on land.
I'm scared too, but now is the first time I heard this 'thalassophobia' the first time I noticed it is when I've seen a picture of whale in a digest, from that day onwards my younger brother misused it to make me do what he wants😭😭.
I don't know what to do. some days I can't sleep because of I have seen some creature from somewhere else like YouTube/insta/books.
I'm scared of ships too...
even if it doesn't change my face my heart will beat sooo hard🙁.
Because of this this I've burned🔥 somany books and calendars, without my parents knowing.
[I don't know why texting this comment is also making me feel scared]
I've never heard of the monsters names you have used,
but I am sure, I'll never Google it
Cthulhu is the name of the ultimate boss in the cosmology created by HP Lovecraft for his horror stories.
Part of Lovecraft's appeal is that his stories are very sketchy on details, which means that readers are free to fill in the blanks with whatever nastiness trips their "eeek!" trigger.
He's usually portrayed as a sort of enormous uber-squid type monstrosity with some humanoid characteristics.
Aww that sucks that it's a big conflict for you...I know "see a therapist" is such standard advice...but it really probably is the best chance you have at over coming your fear.
I hope you can find someone effective who can help you. I'm sorry your dad is less supportive.
Again, I thank you for the suggestion because I'll take any helpful advice. And I'll find a therapist whenever possible. I'm writing a novel, so, I'll do that until then. Also, about my father, it's ok, because he'll be proven wrong. One more thing. Your username Charli reminds me of the character Charlie Magne from Hazbin Hotel. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest it. It's on YouTube
