Permanent birth control (sterilization) is not a standard first course of action for the young/childless. Performing sterilizations on anyone is taken quite seriously.

Sorry, I just don't believe you. There had to be some factor, other than ethics. In this time of nearing overpopulation and dwindling resources, I don't see why anybody considering sterilization wouldn't get a pat on the back and a hearty "atta boy". Again, I ask you, why would anybody, outside of some religious group, care what form of "birth control" any person chooses?
Anyway, it seems we will not resolve this, so I bid this thread, adieu.
Is there any other option for men to prevent reproduction?
