Is there any normal person in iin?

I don't disagree to be a crazy person as it is so much fun. However, I really can't understand why there are sososososo many 'abnormal' people here. (Sorry for using this adjective) What I mean is some people here is a nymphomania, egomania and people believe they are infallible and throw out many so called brillerent lecture. Please, is there any normal but intelligent people to answer my question?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • I certainly believe myself to be "brillerent."

As is the nature of sites with anonymous or semi-anonymous posting options, people post weird stuff. Perhaps there's genuine weirdness behind the keyboard, perhaps someone's just having fun, but ultimately the weird stuff makes it on screen, be it political, sexual or otherwise.

  • Most people are normal on this site. Very few here are abnormal and most of the ones that are considered abnormal are trolls. Very few legit abnormal people are on here.

        • I've been getting thumbed down lately for stuff that makes no sense...I have a feeling I know why and who but its just mere assumption. I think some people dislike diversity in thoughts here. ;)

      • I don't troll. I'm just so normal that I broke the normal meter, traveled through the abnormal meter, then made it bck to being on the normal meter. Yeah, that's how it is...I swur. ;)

    • People are silly. I believe your reputation gave you the thumbs down. I was thinking the same thing. I probably would have worded it slightly differently, but still.the same thought. Maybe add an attention who're in there somewhere.

And I bet if I had said it first, or someone else, the thumbs would be different.

      But you're special. :P

      • It's kind of funny. Part of my bad reputation is that I think a lot of people are idiots on here (not all). So I get a bad reputation for it. In response to that reputaion people downvote me even if they agree with what I say or if what I say is accurate just because I said it...Pretty much demonstrating the things I said about certain people on here that got me my reputation is correct. >_>

        Yeah, probably would. Aha.

I'm special? You make me blush!
(Waits for you to say, "The retarded type of special"). ;)

    • I would not have guessed the people here are mostly normal with some of the questions that get asked.

  • I think I'm normal. If you count driving a test-car at over 300kmh on the freeway as normal XD
But cars aside, I'm normal. I drink beer, studying for exams, hang with mates, appreciate the female body XD, normal guy stuff.

  • I've been pretty abnormal all my life. There was the time I unthinkingly put a rattle snake I caught on the way to school, in our mail box so I could pick it up on my way home from school (my mom thought I was trying to kill her, but the thought never entered my mind), at age 6.
At 12 I was employed full time on commercial fishing boats, during holidays and summers and king crab fishing in Alaska at 15, yet somehow managed to actually graduate from high school.
I've never worked in an office, nor commuted, never had a vacation and very rarely had a job with weekends off. I have not lived ashore since 1969 for more than a month or two, every once in a great while.
My government hates me for I have no residential address, no US phone and they cannot classify me. I have to have a special exemption from the postmaster general to have my mail forwarded for more than 6 months (Patriot Act bullshit), and I've spent less than half my life in my own country.
I'm weird, a bohemian and a rootless wanderer, but I'm happy. That has got to be abnormal!

    • Sounds like you have made better life choices than most people. Traveling is what I want to do with life too.

      • If I remember you are a musician? You can work almost anywhere if you are willing to play the music the locals or tourists want to hear.
Cruise ships also hire musicians and that's a pretty good gig, leaving you free to explore ashore in the day time, because you work in the evenings.
Many places like Skagway Alaska have bars that need entertainers for the summer.

        • I would love to gig on a cruise ship. I plan to get back into the music scene next summer with a few projects I am working on. I've been out of the music scene the last few years. Much due to certain bandmates choosing drugs over music.
Once I am back in the music scene I would like to tour. I spent a lot of my teen years in Alaska. They had really good food I remember. My Dad is an airplane mechanic and travels a lot too. He spends most his time in Asia now but has been to about 70 countries and never stays anywhere for too long. I personally know bands who tour to other continents and one of them just played at an NFL game for the Seahawks. I am hoping to be doing the same things within a couple years.

  • I think I'm pretty normal, used to be completely normal and confident now I'm just normal with a bit of anxiety which is surprisingly common, plus normal is subjective, it holds a different meaning for different people, even if you try and approach it from the view of what someone would expect the general society to believe would be normal it's subjective as we all have different expectations and opinions on society

  • Life is like a ling. A ling has no beginning and no end, coz, you see, it's a circle.

  • Normalcy is in the eye and pyche of the beholder. There is no true definition of normal and abnormal.

While we may live on the same planet and live very similiar lives, everyone's experiences can be different therefore supporting my belief.

  • Am I normal? I used to ask myself that a lot... Then I realized: I don't give a fuck! :D

    (That means no)

  • People tend to associate with like minded individuals.
The people in my real life are similar to the people here too.
