I think that a good number of women break themselves by allowing their emotional nature to get the best of them to begin with. Down the road, upon realizing they've stuck with the 'wrong' man, out of either envying their paired up women-friends, or insecurity on their own part, they start demonizing all men.

Trust me I'm well aware of what weak women tend to attract either unintentionally or intentionally.
I swear if a man said "all women are the same" the comments would be full of angry feminazis
