Yes there are several options. Some here have mentioned Birth Control pills. I have heard of another medications for it.

Zoloft is said to be pretty good for alleviating most of the swings. Fluoxitine is as well. (That is a diluted dose of Prozac.)
It could help you out if you so choose.
