There is no cure, but you can take something like Midol which is an over the counter medication when you start to feel PMS
Im on the pill- best decision ever. clears up skin, lightens periods, makes you happier. It really great. Of course it also means you can do it ;) Oh yeah, it does make you horny a lot more. Its the hormones.
I heard some people go to psychiatrists and get medication to treat mood swings around their period if it is severe. btw, if you don't have regular periods, you might want to get checked to make sure you don't have a hormone imbalance. just thought I'd let you know just in case.
I wonder if birth control pills would help you? I never had bad mood swings when I was having a period, but I did used to have extremely painful periods before I was prescribed bcp (for a hormone imbalance, not for sex). Now they barely hurt at all and it's much easier to predict when my periods will come.
PMS doesn't exist, it's just a fabricated concept by men to excuse the fact you can't be a cunt for the full month
The safest most effective thing you can do is use marijuana it also can be use for just about anything else
If anyone has a cure, I would sure love to know what it is. I try so hard to behave myself, but I still go off on people for no reason. I know I am doing it when it is happening, but I cannot control my temper anyway. I wish that I would not treat people so bad when I PMS. Every month my husband gets his feelings so hurt. I wish that he would just ignore me when it is my time of month, but he trys to help me instead. I would be so happy if there was something that would help me control my mood swings. I would pay anything. It is really embarrassing to not be able to control yourself. I hate being a bitch to people for no reason. Please, someone help me.
Yes there are several options.
Some here have mentioned Birth Control pills.
I have heard of another medications for it.
You probably ought to see a doctor and see if you have Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)

Zoloft is said to be pretty good for alleviating most of the swings.
Fluoxitine is as well. (That is a diluted dose of Prozac.)
It could help you out if you so choose.
