Is the word “motherf****er” normal to use a lot?

Just wondering how often or how many times you would usually have to say “Motherf**cker” out loud in a real sentence with other people around??? Is it normal to say it a lot???

Half the guys I work with are black so I pretty much hear that word on a daily basis. Not directed at me but just when they're in their conversations.

    • They can say it and it mean it in so many different ways.

Same as black girls and the word bitch.

It happens naturally for me I tend to use motherfucker or motherfucka, bitch, cunt, asswipe, cocksucker bitch ass nigga, fuckface, pussy ass etc.

But like some say there is a time and place for that and some people try to hard to be edgy when letting off some steam.

I like to use a lot of curse words from time to time, because I feel the spirit of Samuel L. Jackson in my veins when I do so. However, to use lots of curse words all the time will make a person look inarticulate, and uneducated. Everything has its time, and place.

People who say it a lot sound like they're trying too hard, it's kind of sad.

I usually only say it if I'm very pissed or in pain, but I try not to say it in public or around people I'm not close with or who don't appreciate it. It's kind of rude.

  • Only normal when angry, I think, or if you're Deb from Dexter, or a police officer. I love Micheal from Rage Quit screaming, "YOU MOTHERFUCKER!" Best day.

I've never used it, but it's not common in Australia, at least not in the circles I move in.

Wikipedia says it's not about incest but was a term in slavery times for a slaveowner who raped his female slaves. Whatever, I hate the sound of it.

It's not normal to say it a lot. People who try too hard to be edgy do it and it just comes off as obnoxious.
