You're fine. People who do not work in the industry have no idea about the entrenchment level of the culture that is quite literally unimaginable in every sense unless you're somehow involved. Keep your true friends super close- they will be invaluable tp you from this point forward, & the best resource for a true perspective of who you seem to be becoming compared to who you used to be, and the vest gauge for keeping perspective that the best you remains.
