In my opinion, if they were all atleast official relationships then no, its not whoring around. However, having 9 different one night stands kind of qualifies as whoring around in my books, but hey, I'm just one of those awful bastards who believes you shouldn't open your legs to everyone who gives you the time of day. He is a 28 year old male with a total of 9 past sexual partners, questioning if that is a big number (9! bloody small number for a 28 year old male) and he is a man whore? are you dense?
I don't care if they were all one night stands, not everyone finds "the one" as a teen. Some people take much longer and if this man decided to NOT deny himself some sort of sexual connection with other human beings, then so be it. It's his life and the fact that he is questioning whether or not 9 is too many shows he has good morals.
Either way, you nor i have the right to judge anyone on the amount of sexual partners they have had. Unless you've walked in someone else's shoes, you have no clue what they've been through nor what the reasons behind their actions were.
Once again, there you go assuming you are above everyone. Get over yourself.
