So is the movies or books better of the Maze Runner I would have to say the movies in my opinion? I never read the books but that's just what I think I want to hear what you think

I watched the only the 1st MR. 6/10. It was entertaining, and the concept was pretty decent, unlike Divergent.
However, like most of these fantasy movies aimed at teens and young people, it had its fair share of stupid points.
The books are almost always better. They explain more, flesh out characters more, and are usually more mature.
All of those things help fill in plot holes and create a stronger, more interesting story and world.
Books are normally better than the movies. But I have not read the series. I do think the Hunger Games movies are a bit better than the books. Just because I hated how much Katniss flip flopped between the two male interests.
I thought the hunger games books were way better myself. In fact, I still haven't gotten through the movies. I guess I will have a binge watch.
I'm an avid reader tho.
Some part were definitly better in the books. Like the relationship between Rue and Katniss and the reason for the riots in district three which they totally glossed over in the movie. Many think the first district to riot was twelve. There are other things in the books that aren't even mentioned in the movies. But what drove me crazy about the books was the constant whining Katniss did about Gale and Peeta. I think someone who survived what she did would, at least by the second book, be pragmatic. Gale is there. He's strong in body, skill and will. He loved Katniss for years, and she loved him. But, oh Peeta.
