Is the bleeding normal?

Okay so I had sex for the first time yesterday. I know that some blood is to be expected after the first time but I was under the impression that the bleeding would end shortly after the sex did. Its not a huge amount of blood...more like spotting..but its still happening. How long is this suppose to go on? Everones body is diferent but is it normal to still be spotting the next day? Possibly even tommorow as well depending on how that goes? Anyone?

    i think i did it off and on for 24hrs or a little more, depending on what kind of activity i was doing at the time. i would not be concerned with spotting unless it lasts more than three days steadily

    Uhm hmm. I think I bled for the rest of the day when I lost my virginity. You are right though it was more of a spotting.
