Is that cat normal?

I just moved to a new house. I am used to shy and frightened cats that takes them at least one year to adapt to a new person. But there is a cat in the neighborhood, not ours, we don't know him, that every time me and my wife open the house door run into the house, jump to our bed, sits like it's his own bed and start to Miau expecting me to give him food. Is that cat normal?

Is It Normal?

  • LOL - I think my cat has houses that he does that too. **Sigh** he has more than one family. One time I saw a neighbor shake those temptation treats and he ran to her house and went inside...... I think she meant to call her cat, but she let him in. It was strange.

  • That is sooooo cute.

There are four different neighbor cats that hang out in my garden. They run away as soon as they see me, but I think one is starting to develop a relationship with one of my own cats through the window (my cats stay indoors).

  • You should adopt it. It obviously has taken a liking to you.

  • Why don't you just adopt it? That cat sounds adorable! I think you made a friend.

  • My nans next door neighbours moved on and left their cat behind (my nan sorta adopted it). So mistakes like that do happen, maybe the cat used to live in your house.
