Is spiky body hair a deal breaker?

I just turned 18 and I've always struggled with shaving. My skin is incredibly sensitive and porcelain pale so when I shave with a razor I get these bright red bumps.

Also my body hair is near black, I'm a blonde but my body hair is very dark. I've tried waxing, shaving, laser hair removal, but nothing has worked to give me a clean shave without irritating my skin immensely. Also it grows very fast so I have to shave everyday to avoid getting prickly.

I'm thinking of just using an electric razor, it won't be the perfect hairless feel, but it's the only thing that works and won't hurt intensely. Would it be a complete turnoff if my legs were a little stubbly?

I get a Brazilian which works flawlessly and my arms, torso, and armpits are hairless and the skin doesn't irritate there, only my legs.

I had laser on my lower legs about twelve years ago, and although it was kinda painful it was completely worth it! I would certainly do my upper legs if I could afford it! Laser is wonderful! It's ideal for sensitive, light skin with dark hair, and I'm speaking from experience.

If you can afford to get laser again, go do it! I however recommend getting your legs waxed about a month before your first laser treatment, and then getting a treatment every month so you can keep catching the hairs right in the growth cycle. I did my lower legs the way I've described, and the results were truly amazing after only three treatments when they tell you it usually takes six to ten treatment's for good results. I had three treatments on my underarms as well, but I didn't do the waxing a month ahead of the laser trick, and although the hair is finer and sparser the results were nowhere near as good.

    • I did laser in continuous treatments for two years, like I said before it didn't work.

It hurt like hell and I had to get treated for 2nd degree burns on my face.

      I'm not doing it again

Hmm... maybe it was a different type of laser than what I had, cause the laser worked like a charm on my lower legs.

You're fine. Don't worry about it unless your about to hit the runway
