Is skyrim oblivion worth buying

Hi im not a gamer im wondering if Oblivion is worth buying?!
I want to get into gaming. I am very picky about graphics but whatever I guess because my laptop can barely run anything so whatever. I am poor. I cant really afford to buy a game but its cheap enough I guess. I need a hobby and what am I supposed to do?! I cant start a hobby and make friends irl because COVID!... So I should make friends in online and find the hobby of gaming... So is it worth it?! Its great?!... Is it very difficult?! I play Runescape a little before and I start again now and learned it now I never understood how to follow map before you know...Like how does a map even work?!... But I read the instructions and now I get it and I like it but a bit boring too... I always wanted to play WOW buts its too expensive and too advanced for my laptop and same with Skyrim that I want to play also... But I wanted a multiplayer game with a nice avatar and doing missions and exploring big beautiful open world... I guess Oblivion is not multiplayer but whatever I enjoy playing alone most of the time when I do. Everyone just wanna talk over mic and I hate it... And btw no one chats in Runescape so why is that?! Are they chatting in private?! Thanks...

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Morrowind is by far the best in the series. There is just something about that game that makes it feel a lot more magical.

Yes it is more difficult in the sense that Morrowind doesn't hold your hand and give you clear directions like Oblivion and Skyrim does. You gotta figure out shit yourself in that game, and that is exactly what makes it so great.

        It is not more difficult.

Oblivion is indeed worth buying. I've played it enough to have gotten close to completing it. In my opinion, it is either the best Elder Scrolls game, or it is tied with Morrowind.

    Nobody ever mentions Daggerfall...

People mention Arena even less, but I think that game's better than Skyrim. Daggerfall's, better than Arena, though, by a lot.

    • It looks a bit old I like good graphics but I can be okay with games from 2000s because of my laptop

Wish they made a redux of daggerfall. High rock is such an interesting part of Tamriel culture wise.

Honestly it's a more bare bones skyrim that's way easier to become overpowered and leveled in.
