Is she lying?

I recently bought a new apartment, the top floor of a house converted into two homes. Downstairs is a very succesful 20-something woman, and we get on great, often having a bottle of wine together in the evenings.

She says the couple I bought my apartment from were also orginally good friends of hers, but that the male turned out to be a sex offender...who assaulted several women including my neighbor.

Her story is that he broke into her apartment, naked, and started having oral sex with her while she was asleep. She says she woke up and as he was very drunk she decided to make him some coffee in her kitchen...one thing led to another and the pair of them had a good kissing and groping session.

I know something DID happen as the guy did indeed get arrested and go to jail.

Whats got me thinking is the whole kissing him thing. I mean, if that happened to me a guy would be lucky to still have his balls!

I'm also puzzled as she has launched a local charity to support victims of sexual abuse in our area. She's done this to feel that she's "putting something back" and wants to encourage women to speak out about abuse. What makes me feel uneasy is, for instance, she chose to run a "blind date" evening to raise funds... this strikes me as inappropriate!

Also, considering she has claimed to be an abuse victim (although she kissed and groped the guy happily) she recently promoted her own business by striping naked and painting her butt red for a pr stunt...seriously, I have seen the photo.

Is it just me, or is something not right with her story/actions??

I assume the guy still sits in jail.
