Is sharing a bed with 35 year old daughter normal

My boyfriend, who is very loving and giving with everyone, sort of infantile in a way, loves to visit his grandchilcren more than once a week. Sometimes he sleeps over if it gets late. He and his 35 year old daughter have an unusually good and close relationship - they talk on the phone several times every day. She also likes to spend Saturday mornings with him and the grandchildren. I find this to be a bit too much.

My problem arose when I found out when the husband is not there, he, the daughter and the two grandchildren sleep in her bed. The husband doen't mind. Is this weird, or I am just seeing something wrong which is probably totally innocent? We've discussed and he was surprised I would see anything wrong with it. I can't stop thinking about it and it has affected how I feel about him. Help!

PS - he got divorced when she around 12.

    Sounds like a little girl that grew up close to her daddy. I see nothing wrong with it at all, as long as he is a good man :)

    Unusual for most I am sure but having kids in the bed kind of erases some of the pervy feelings. Just sounds like a family slumber party. I wouldn't be comfortable having this type of relationship but I'm sure it's innocent enough.

    I'm a single parent, 40, and talk to both my parents All the time on the phone. They r my best friends. They live an hour away and visit us every other month or so. They even spend the night sometimes. My Dad has spent the night before and slept with me and my 5 year old son because we lie in bed and watch SpongeBob till we all fall asleep. But what if it were my Mom instead? So what?!?!? It's my Mom. Sounds to me like ur the one with issues because u c something ugly in a totally innocent act of love. If I slept alone with my Dad it would be cool, but not my Mom? Besides, the kids r in the bed. I'm sure he just wants to sleep with the kids or they even said "Please sleep with us GDaddy!!!" Maybe the only other beds r the kids and they're too small. Whatever the case, if there is something goin on, I'm sure they'd be a little more discreet

    i guess i have been brought up different but i dont see that as normal what-so-ever. the talking on the phone bit i see as way over the top. what on earth are they talking about? one person ran out of milk and they are calling to say that they are going to the store to buy more? and dont they want any privacy at all when they go to bed? they dont ... like .... snuggle do they??

    what ever it is its CONCENTUAL. she is 35 and not some child, i think you should worry about more important things and be thankful he's a good man or not off with some 19yo slut like most older guys go for.

    I'm a 31 year-old male and when I go back to my home country I stay over at my parents. Occasionally, when my dad goes away on business, I sleep on the same bed as my mom. It wasn't that bad. In fact, it was a great opportunity for us to talk as mother and son while watching some silly film together. It was a great opportunity for me to connect with my mom after being away for so many years.

    I agree with the others. The phone bit is a bit weird...
