Like Sadism for life at large? Or only for sex? Those are very different things. Take me for instance, I like seeing women in pain if they consent to it because it gives them pleasure. And even more so do I like inflicting pain on consenting women for sexual pleasure.
All in all, I don't think sadism is normal as a whole, and neither is sexual sadism. Sexual sadism is a type of sadism that is not unhealthy in my opinion as long as the acts done are safe, sane, legal and consensual.
