No, sadism is not normal, and neither is masochism. Lots of people will say that it's a normal fetish, and that's their business, because they can think whatever they want. However I think that it's unhealthy for the mind, and that those practices are degrading, and dehumanizing.
Like S and M for life at large? Or only for sex? Those are very different things, the latter of which I would argue is not unhealthy for the mind. Take me for instance, I like seeing women in pain if they consent to it because it gives them pleasure. And even more so do I like inflicting pain on consenting women for sexual pleasure.
Well I'm into that deginition to. But in this context I was referring to sadism and masichism, which go figure, I like in a sexual context. What else does it stand for? I probably like that to.
