  • Well I don't really believe in karma.
Anyway, IMO, you did not respond to my statement correctly. I argued against eye for an eye. In your breaking up example, breaking up with your partner is not immoral, because you would have a just reason for doing so (presumably) and if your future partner breaks up with you as well, she would have a reason for doing so.

Secondly, does the fact that you were evil before justify evil against your present, moral self?

    • I was not debating you or supporting you. I was merely making an observation, that regardless of whether you think "eye for an eye" is right or wrong, nature often does it anyways. It just happens a lot of the time whether you think it is justified or not. There seems to be some kind of universal "balance" that keeps things in order most of the time. So that people who fuck over other people tend to pay for it in the end somehow, even if its not always clear to us what their "punishment" is. Sometimes they may not even pay for it themselves, maybe their family or their nation pays for their actions. And its not always 100% guaranteed there will be a perfect balance all the time, but things tend to play out as they should most of the time

You make good points and i am not an expert in morality so i dont have the answers, nor do i make the laws, i just follow them
