  • I agree. I came from a town where in my graduating class of 400 there was like 7 black kids and 2 asian kids. Then I went to the navy and a solid half came from gary indiana and all my RDCs (drill sergeants essentially) where african american.

It was a very good learning experience, toiling with other diverse groups of people really makes you non racist.

    • I would never want to live in a innercity black neighborhood again because it was awful but I work with alot of black people and usually get along well with them. They often have good personalities Ive noticed. I do think generally they're more aggressive though.

The ones that grow up in rural areas are totally different than the innercity ones.

      • Honestly I chop it up to impoverished neighborhoods with crime. That creates an incentive to be as mean as possible. Evolutionary psychology speaking.

        • In the southern states there's alot of poverty and its still nothing like innercity black neighborhoods. Theres actually much worse poverty in white areas in the southern states. Theres alot of drug use but its not as violent. People are generally polite to you.
