He seems young and may not have understood his feelings in a way he could explain. Any way I'm not defending what he did but how she handled it was uncalled for.
In some relationships what he did would be no big deal. In all relationships what she did would be wrong. But either way bringing more hurt and shame and sadness to the world benefits no one.
It's not "some relationships" which are relevant but this particular: it was obviously a big deal to the woman involved: what HE did was wrong and he's minimising and excusing it as if it were nothing, as are you. I know two wrongs don't make a right, but who did the wrong thing FIRST?
I'll bet it benefited her in the short term at least to pay him back
Is public humiliation good revenge?

It was not intended. I am not saying that it was right. But it happened in a moment of passion.

I not minimizing anything I clearly acknowledged what he did was wrong.
