I have a best friend and she's bisexual and I'm straight(I think?) and I'm not sure if my feelings towards her are just platonic because I hate being away from her like even for two days its like it physically hurts bc I miss her and I can spend all day with her and be happy. I've been having hard times recently and I feel like I'm drowning and she's the only thing that helps me stay and I just feel like I depend on her and I love hugging her and idk. She was making hints asking me if I would ever date a girl and we always joke about dating each other. Is that normal?

    This sounds romantic to me. But romance is very subjective. Different people experience this kind of thing differently.

    Do you want to deliberately give her more affection than your other friends?

    Also another thing: you can be romantically attracted to someone without being sexually attracted to them.
