If you actually read my comments you'll see that I never referred to myself when I was talking about voting. I said "the reason why PEOPLE voted for him....etc. etc." It's remarkable, I rarely come across someone as dense as you. I mean, I see my share of morons roaming the internet but you sir are something else.
Why would I defend Obama on Syria? Did you not read my first comment? What did I say? Come on, lets go over this together:
"I agree with you on Syria...we shouldn't be getting involved"
My, how you must feel now, lol. It really is tiresome trying to educate someone who is dead-set on their biased agenda, but it's ok, I have faith that someday you'll be hit with the truth and your precious naive idealism will come crashing down. But in the meanwhile, have fun in your bubble.
I've spent the past several years, as a free-thinking independent, watching the hypocrisy from the left and the right. The last two executives' pundits being the most forthright.
You're the perfect example.
I've tried, repeatedly, to point out to narrow-minded talking heads how, when their guy makes a call, it's benevolent and forthcoming, but when the so-called other side does exactly the same thing, or expands on "the other guy's" misguided laws, it's "treacherous and evil." Now...both sides are chastising the other for chastising them for chastising the other for doing what each has done.
Poll results for attacking Syria really emphasize my point. Look up the breakdown on current numbers supporting Obama's war vs Bush's wars...then look at the breakdown by party affiliation..
I never said you defended Obama on Syria...but you started in on me, with assumptions about my political affiliation and hurled accusations. I fired back. The pot references were for an attempt at humor, which started to devolve the conversation...my bad.
You called me out for making assumptions. I pointed out that you made assumptions about me...that's what I actually thought was funny (a few months ago I got into an argument with someone who called me a flaming liberal)...there you go.
Your quote:
"Somehow I highly doubt you were making this big a fuss during Bush's term when the 'Patriot Act' was enacted which is pretty much what allows the NSA to do what they do"
I answered that. As a matter of fact, I was very active in fighting the PATRIOT act. You mocked me for it...then never answered when I asked what you've done to fight it. Is it really more important to you that you cut down someone who thinks differently from you, than to actually have a conversation?
Incidentally...Obama, against my biggest hopes for him, expanded those powers and took it to an even more dangerous level...just as I told Bush supporters would happen once "their guy" wasn't in power anymore.
I have no "dead set, biased agenda" beyond constantly looking for the truth. What's your excuse?
My "precious idealism" is individual freedom and Constitutional Rights. Yes...people like you are hell bent on destroying it. I bet you will have a good laugh when it does come crashing down...while I defend it with my life. Meanwhile...you can live in your bubble...towing party lines and laughing at those of us who want our children to live in a free society.
Is Obama still revered as a god today?
