Very true. Though sadists don't even hate people at all really, they just get a sort of comfort from seeing a look or sound of pain from another lifeform. And only because of poor sexual development.
Infact they couldn't be further from a misanthrope as they still enjoy company, get married, live with people, work with others and are often quite friendly except for that small part of themselves.
