Is my relationship normal or is it unnecessary agony?

I am 28 years old and I am in the best relationship of my life so far.

We agree that people should be independent and free even when in love. We agree that life should be enjoyable.

However, we do not agree on anything else; not money, kids, food, work, recreation, movies, television, music, or anything else.

We love eachother but this makes understanding one another impossible and getting along is very difficult. Is this normal or am I nuts for staying in this relationship?

    sounds like you are in a loving relationship just for the sake of being in the relationship. consider being with someone else that you might actually have a better time with because you share some of the same interests.
