Is its normal that I feel like my mother hates me/my siblings? I mean..people tend to think its just my teenage angst, but I feel like its so much more.My mother is a sadistic bitch. She beats us, has random mood swings & seems perfectly normal, if not a perfect parent to others. To give you and idea of how insane she is: she once thew my 5 year old brother into the shower & beat him with a broom because he didn't finish his homework. Is this normal motherly love? Or just a sick bitch's perverse fantasy.

    To me it sounds like your mother may be bi-polar, I would suggest telling a teacher/adult or someone about her because that is abuse.

    I agree with MissSorel. It sounds more like a mood disorder, than typical sadism. Can you tell some one like a teacher or a friend? Someone you can trust with some form of authority. She's being abusive and it needs to stop. Throwing someone in the shower with a broom is not a "normal" form of punishment.

    Because I still live was/ her & depend on her. She's also 175 pounds larger .
