I'd kind of like to meet your mom. She sounds like a handful but it would be a memorable conversation.
Have you tried telling her how old she looks? Her ego is out of control and needs some deflating. Only a family member can get away with it.
She does make friends rather easily. She can go into a room of strangers and walk out knowing the life's story of a few, and exchanged phone number with a few more and be invited to someone else's wedding...
