This post makes me think of an incident with my own mother. We were in the car on speakerphone with my husband, and he was telling everyone in the car about how well our son did on a test. My mom pipes up "he takes after his Grandma" and my husband replies in his tongue-in-cheek way "I'll be sure to let my mom know that" and everyone in the car just started laughing.
Is my mother narcissistic or what?!
