So In the last couple years I’ve acquired a rape kink. After being sexually assaulted throughout my life (including childhood) I’ve come to be incredibly enticed by the cnc (Consensual Nonconsensual) kink. And in the last couple of years I haven’t been able to ‘get off’ in bed unless it was a cnc scenario. So is it weird or are there other people like this? Is it because of trauma?

    first off all im sorry you had to go through all the trauma, stay strong there ..!
    and it looks like you found a genuine interest through a bad experience, but there is nothing wrong with cnc

    It is because of trauma. It's normal to fetishize something you couldn't control in the past because it helps you to control it now but it's definitely a sort of coping mechanism

    It isn't weird. People like what they like. Our past trauma impacts us for the rest of our life. Quite a bit of sexual assault victims are similar.

    To out should seek professional help because what if you were to take it to the level of only non consensual sex you could and will most likely end up in prison. Let's hope that none of that happens but this day and age you never know. Good luck and hope you take this to heart.

    It sounds normal, I believe this is probably at least somewhat trauma related. I’ve definitely heard of other people who are the same as you. There’s nothing wrong with it at all as long as you’re happy with your sex life.
