okay, so my parents are always negative about everyone and everything, it really depresses me...gets me down bad. I have suffered from depression and a bad anxiety disorder, as well as a social phobia since I was about 15.
And my dad seems to be worse, he's definitely got OCD or something, he is always checking doors are locked and stuff, and he loses it about the stupidest things, he is like a child throwing a tantrum. He puts down everyone and argues with random people about anything, anytime, anywhere!!!

Is It Normal?

    No it's not normal. My Dad is just like that he always said negative stuff about ppl, family, friends,etc... When ur old enough get outta there.

    No, you're family isn't "normal". But you would be surprised at how many dysfunctional families are really out there. I came from one, you just have to realize that you DON'T want to grow up like your parents -
    I have all of the same problems as you, but trust me hun, you will overcome them.
