My 15 yr old daughter took a razor to school and cut and drink the blood of one of her friends. The friend tried to stop her. Now she is expeled from school. I know she need mental health but why do you think a normal acting teen would do that? IIN? I am worried sick.
Maybe she needs more iron in her diet....
No seriously take her to a doctor, take vampire movies and books of her anything that would give a child those ideas isnt suitable for them
That's one cool kid. I love that she's come up with such a wonderful, imaginative and original idea. Most teens aren't exposed to films and books where people drink each other's blood. I know there's that Twilight thing but I don't think anyone's ever read it or seen it. Most haven't even heard of it.

I think you need to give more information. I would love to put some thought into this and try to help you out. What is her past history of odd behavior? Any history of drug abuse? Did she actually attack her friend or are her friends a part of a group that entertains this kind of behavior? What has she explained as her reasons? Obviously, you know this behavior is abnormal. I would be doubtful, though, that she went from a healthy, happy teenager to something like this. There are always red flags. But teenagers can certainly be sneaky. I hope she gets the help she needs. Best wishes.

That is absolutely not normal. I would try to find out more about the kinds of people your daughter hangs out with. I hate to say it, but she may be involved in a Satanic cult. Maybe the members of the cult told her and her friend to engage in that behavior as a kind of ritual?

No. She's just extremely bored and wants attention. I was a goth in school and I used to do some pretty strange stuff. Just explain to her how gross and dangerous drinking people's blood actually is. She probably really hasn't thought about it. Kids do really stupid crap, remember? This is just another example.
She and her friend had probably agreed to do the "blood sisters" thing, where you mix blood to create a stronger bond. I did that once in middle school. Health-wise, very dangerous, but I think she's psychologically fine.
well, whatever being normal or not, just keep treating her as if she is normal and if you're planning to take her to mental health hospital, have a proper conversation with her about it. Whatever happens, don't be mean at her or she will probably repeat or worse that behaviour.
Maybe try asking her why is she doing it, even that she answers something weird.
actually, someone on is it normal, said that they were turned on by blood. maybe she is too.

Be careful. I had some support once (not for what she was doing!) but it was called something different -– all it did was create problems and make me feel worse. They must have been there before but not as bad as they were afterwards! I was anxious before but I'm a nervous wreck now.
More information is needed. You say you knew that she had mental health issues. If she is mentally ill, then that could help to shed some light on this. Was/is she seeing a therapist? If not, why didn't you take her to one if you knew she had mental health issues? If yes, what does her therapist say?

My friend took all that a LOT more seriously than I did. I never did that ritual thing, & I’m very glad I didn't. It would've been pretty daft because we're (thankfully) no longer in contact.
Put your daughter's books back in her room, keeping them away from her means she'll only want them more.

I am a young student and I advice you that before you seek help from a professional try to talk to your daughter and ask her why she does all these things. I suppose this craziness will pass. She is may coming across a hard puberty! Dont be afraid. It will be okay!
I recommend seeking professional help. It may take someone with some kind of experience to figure out the root of the problem and explain why things of that sort are not ok to do.
On a side note, I would have punched her for cutting me, sorry :)
I can honestly tell you she is fucken normal beyond belief but she does have a fucked up fetish she isnt a phycho path just diffrent shit thrills her just try to accept her and respect her and explain to her cannibalism isnt wrong* but its better if she doesnt practice it
Believe it or not she hangs out with nice girls
she never goes anywhere that I and her dad don't approve of, she has been very shelted and is a only child, this is just not something anyone would think she would do, she does try and dress in the goth clothes but even that was kept to a low profile she was heavy into the "Twilight" she has a large collection of book and maybe 1/3 were about that stuff. It has been taken out of her room now
Up until this point she acted like a (normal)teen no real trouble to speak of. Juat a lot of back talk at home very polite outside home.
The friend she cut is a friend of her's and she had agreed to do it until they went into bathroom and then she got scared so my daugher got her arm and cut two small cuts and drink her blood
She has a appointment with a MH worker. I will update when she tells me something. thanks for trying to help
