The only way a jerk like he is can help you is with money. If he won't help you, there is no reason to help him. Break all contact. Do not respond to any attempt he makes to communicate with you.
It may sound as if you are creating a problem, but really you are implementing the solution.
I'm glad i read this, I have not known what to do with him recently, he will call even few weeks or months i guess make him feel better about himself for not often seeing me and sometimes bring me to a dinner, generally after bringing me to an event where he can show me off then drop me off back home. I feel like the only reason talk to him now is just for the occasional free food, but i feel used doing so, because he'll go around banging that my accomplishments were from his genes and inspiration, when i know that he hasn't been a major figure in my life since i was 11. I just keep up appearances for him and his friends to make it seem as though i'm fine with it all when i'm not, perhaps i'm just better off independently considering that i rarely see him anyways, and all he cares about is his girlfriend and his money anyways. Hopefully he will ultimately realize what he is truly missing.
