Is my buddy coming on to me?

I have a good friend but in the past several months it seems something is odd. Maybe it's just me....One day I was in the bathroom washing my hands, he came out of a stall and said, "John, this is a weird place for us to meet." Weeks later we were talking in the garage at work and he said we better finish the conversation because he did't want other co-workers "talking about us". Then one day he was talking to me in my office, and out of nowhere started talking about how he needed to be faithful to his wife. Weeks after that, I was in a restaurant drinking coffee. He saw my truck and came in wondering if I was waiting there for him.

Is it me, or is he acting strangely? Is he paranoid about something, dropping me hints, or something else? I am really confused be these incidents.

Is It Normal?

    If he is a good friend he probably is joking with you and you are reading too much into the incidences. Maybe you are attracted to him? If my friend was joking with me like you are saying I would joke back and if it started to make me uncomfortable I would just say so in the nicest way possible.

    This guy's clearly being awkward. He's paranoid, ignore him and go on as usual. Maybe you might wanna find a job elsewhere and not be his friend altogether. A bit harsh but these things need to happen sometimes.

      Well it's a very good job to leave! When you say he is being "awkward" what do you mean? I am real stupid sometimes about the obvious it seems.........do you think he is hinting around?

        Let me rephrase my answer a little bit. I don't think he is hinting around. What might be happening is that he's a good friend and he's throwing around a few homosexual jokes. It's not uncommon for people to do this occasionally. Was he smiling/laughing when he said the things he said? He could just be winding you up.

    ...weird and very vague. I dunno but it doesn't sound normal. Is there any chance that he thinks you really are gay? I would make a point to tell him you are not without suggestion you think he's coming onto you.
