WalMart is a mega dirty player kind of corporation so, maybe this mild redistribution to those in need is ethically acceptable.
If you steal from a locally owned shop? No, please don't do that.
Really, let's see. WalMart steals in a less blatant form. Look at their employees. They pay them barely enough, yet, retain revenue granted in heaps to a few special snowflake heirs.
Corporations steal by creatively maneuvering in ways that are subjectively legal, thanks to their power.
Is stealing always wrong? Perhaps this person is relatively poor?
Robin Hood was he a thief? He took things that were being greedily hoarded by an oppressive regime.
Where do you think those items in WM are made? In Mexico, or China where WM negotiates a contract to get what they can at the cheapest price.
Really, who is the thief?
...not that I think the person posting this question should shoplift those items. Bad idea! Bad move. Dumb! I mean, it's WM, for crap's sake! Do you want to have to pay huge attorney fees, court fees, and waste your time at that to take a few things from a retail store that likely already offers you the lowest price? Forget the ethics, it's dumb to shoplift. So, don't do it.
