Alright here it goes. For all of you who know the video game league of legends there is one character in there called Tristana. She is a small blue character with white hair and she loves guns. I don't know why but whenever I see her in game or just a picture of her, my heart races, my mouth goes dry and I just feel happy. I know it is not normal by any stretch of the imagination but I am not normal myself. It's nothing sexual like I don't watch porn of her or anything but it is just love. I am in love with her and I don't know what to do. My friends have said I am not weird and that I should just masturbate over her and I will feel better but I do not want to do that because I am afraid it will get a lot worse so could you guys give me any tips on this and tell me if it is wrong or not.     I see this kind of thing on a daily basis and it's not that weird to have a crush on a fictional character. I experienced it myself and still do from time to time... It just happens. I think it will fade away after some time, sometimes it's a long period but it will. After all, you're not getting anything back from her, right?

    You don't have to fight it as long as it just makes you happy and you don't hurt anybody.

    Not at all. I've had crushes on video game characters before. Unfortunately, the love is, of course, very one-sided.

    It's not wrong at all; I had a crush on this Code Lyoko named Aileta. Granted, it's not a video game, but still. I think that lasted about a year or so, but I can't quite remember.

    It's totally normal, but you phrased it like a yes/no question so I voted No (not wrong). Not much different than falling in love with a movie character.

    I've had crushes on fictional characters too. My latest crush was on Willow from Don't Starve and that lasted about a year and a half.
