Nope. Ketchup is meant to be put on stuff. Keep eating your ketchup fish, OP.

Fried fish or breaded fish always tastes better with ketchup. Not for everyone but it's normal.

I put it on fish that is fried or has a crispy crust (baked). I treat it like chicken tenders, they need ketchup! But then again... my dad always asks me, would you like fries with your ketchup? I'm a big ketchup lover... put it on everything... when I was a kid, I'd put it on the bread they brought to the table at restaurants. I don't do that anymore, though!

My Uncle criticized me for putting ketchup on steak (which he didn't pay for). I told him that the only reason that I ate steak was to get the ketchup into my mouth. I still love it on many things but not on fish.

It absolutely is not normal. My daughter has always loved ketchup on fish. I've thought about having her tested for some genetic defect but it is more cost effective to keep feeding her this god-awful fish condiment.
