    Tomato sauce pairs well with sugar, it balances out the acids. The “smokiness” and maple flavor of brown sugar would emulate bacon. I could see this working, but not if your putting more than a teaspoon on an entire pie, any more than that and it’s dessert.

    Sounds gross, it's funny how sone gross sounding things can actually be quite delicious! Did you know at least a muscrats, testicle is like eating a grape. Spiced properly it could be really good!
