Is it weird to get hungry when seeing gore/blood/smelling blood

So i was watching a zombie movie and like usual i get a extreme craving for blood and meat...I know weird:/
I felt the need to go downstairs to the fridge and grab a piece of meat..not even cook it just eat it raw and in huge amounts.And am i the only one that can smell blood?It freaks my friends out cause i can tell when they have a cut even though i can't see it.And when im hungry for meat and blood i get this weird metalic taste on the back of my tounge like my body is telling me to just eat it.And I start acting weird when i get hungry like this.I start sleeping more.And i start living like a hermit never opening the blinds. is this normal?
