Freshman boy really likes me and I’m wondering if it’s weird to date him. I haven’t really heard of anyone else in my grade dating freshman so would it be weird?
One accepted rule is half your age plus 7 years. But since you are both young, better to work the formula by months. For example, if you are 188 months old, half of that is 94 months, plus 84 months (7 years) = 178 months. Or, 14 years, 10 months for him.
Hell, just plan for a summer of romantic fun. Have a pack of condoms just in case.
Don't see why not, I dated 3 different girl (not all ar once) a freshmen and two sophmores as a senior. When I was in high school.
That's something that always cracked me up, a 20 year old dates a 16 year old it's wrong. A 16 year old dates a 12 year old it's wrong but a 30 year old dates a 26 year old and no one cares.

I ment to click normal. Yeah thats normal. Its only what a year? My wife was a freshman when I was a junior and we dated all through highschool. So i guess its normal.
It's weird. Do not do it. It happened to my younger brother, rumors spread that she was crazy... they were right. As a guy, young guys understand dating above thier age is not ok in the teenage years due to the HS hierarchy. Freshman males bottom. But when you become a junior or senior you move to top of the chain. Females kinda dont move anywhere for it.
I think it's borderline acceptable for a high school junior to date a freshman regardless of sex. I think it would be more if acceptable if the two persons were not sexually active.
