Is it weird that i walk around rubbing my pillow case?

I rub the open end (where you insert the pillow) of my pillow case. I carry it around my house like a child's blanket, and I'm almost 20 years old. Why do I do this? My parents always tried to break the habit, they even tried throwing it into the fire (I cried uncontrollably). Is this normal??

  • Its not normal obviously, and your parents should have tried a more tactful approach to weaning you from the pillow. You are an adult and should not be doing this as you surely already know.

I am not a therapist, but i can tell that you have deep security issues that you need to seek professional guidance for. Really. You are too old for this and this needs to be addressed asap.

Why not wean yourself off the pillowcases slowly. From the full size one you use now, find a toddler/cot size & then down to a Barbie size until you are rubbing a Sylvanian family sized one & hey presto.

    Worked for me !
